Employer:Hernandez-Eli Architecture (HE) is an award-winning, New York City-based architecture firm with a diverse portfolio of work spanning research and experimental projects, furniture, residential, commercial, hospitality, institutional and public facilities.
HE is seeking interns to join the firm during the Summer to engage in tasks that span research, physical and digital modeling, rendering, drafting, field measurements and site visits, as well as presentations. Projects range in type, scale and program, including publications, hardware, textiles and furniture, residential (homes and multi-unit developments), commercial (retail and restaurants), institutional and public design work.
Internships are available for both undergraduate and graduate students. The position is paid; compensation is commensurate with experience. Hardware and software will be provided. This position is in person in our West Village location.

About Hernandez-Eli Architecture
HE was founded in 2017 and is led by founding principal Juliet Hernandez-Eli. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Princeton University and a Master in Architecture from Harvard University. Hernandez-Eli has taught at Harvard University, Pratt Institute, and Boston Architectural College; she was recently named a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at UC Berkeley. Her work has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Boston Architecture Magazine as well as books by Princeton Architecture Press and Actar Publishing.
