Overview:
Float is a multidisciplinary full-service studio that creates spaces, products, and interior identities for workplaces, commercial spaces, hospitality and retail. Vastly experienced, highly collaborative, and open-minded, they build relationships to their clients through in-depth discovery and considered design direction.
Responsibilities:
Work with senior architectural designer to review code, consultant coordination, and filing
Set up files and organization for new projects
Coordinate with the design team on the development of construction documents
Provide program and code research, develop fit tests, and set up construction documents for development in close coordination with the senior architectural designer
Provide material and product research, sourcing and vendor coordination
Assist in development of design presentation documents and interior elevations for internal review and client presentations
Generate Sketches during Construction Administration
Manage submittal logs, field RFI’s and assist in construction administration for projects
Coordinate construction documents with FF&E specifications provided by the design team and present survey results
Manage individual deliverables and workflow within larger project schedules and communicate any conflicts to the design team
Qualifications:
BArch or M.Arch
1-4 years of relevant experience
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Autocad, Bluebeam, 3D Modeling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of standard office software (i.e. Google Suite)
Legal authorization to work in the US
Salary range commensurate with experience and education.
