JAAX is a small architecture office based in DTLA.

We are dedicated to design and research of projects of different scales and typologies across the country and overseas. Projects we work on range from boutique retail shops to hotels, flagship stores and multifamily developments.

We have an immediate job opening for a Junior Designer with a little bit of experience with multifamily projects in the Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities

• Drafting multifamily drawing sets through all phases of a project
• Material research, specification and code research
• Assisting with CA activities
• Assisting with Client and Consultant coordination
• Internal and external meetings

Qualifications

• Professional degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Architecture
• 1-3 years of professional work experience, preferably with local affordable multifamily projects
• Excellent written, graphic and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino and Adobe CS
• Current authorization to work in the US
